Backstory
Magnus restored antique dining chairs and developed very firm views about who gets to occupy a good seat. He met Roxy while repairing the Opal Rooms’ front row. A casual rebound drill became a lengthy argument about leverage, followed by a genuine invitation to join the roster.

Prove patience can still command the most valuable space, without turning every possession into a referendum on his seniority.
Allies, rivals & friction
Viv spends his rebounds freely; Roxy appreciates his craftsmanship but refuses the title “junior.” Walt Morrow’s cheerful practicality punctures his grand manners. Astrid Sloane never accepts the offered space, which fascinates and annoys him.

He makes an elaborate half-bow and yields a sliver of rebound position; as the opponent takes the offered space, he pivots around the outside on a planted foot and collects the ball over the newly exposed shoulder.
The rules & the counter
The offered gap must exist and his pivot cannot displace an airborne player. A quick opponent can take the ball instead of the invitation. His half-bow briefly lowers his sightline and costs recovery speed.

He remembers a successful fake against him for far longer than the possession warrants and tries to answer it personally.
