Profile
Backstory
Reggie ran a tiny bespoke sign-painting business and insisted a six-inch panel could carry a message across a street. His basketball philosophy grew from the same conviction: impact depends on timing, contrast and nerve. Dani invited him after he spent an entire pickup session calling his own difficult shots and then quietly helping repaint the boundary lines.
What drives them
Become a genuinely feared shooter while learning that confidence does not require turning every attempt into a declaration.
Allies, rivals & friction
Luca supplies reliable space and demands Reggie stop describing it as scenery. Viv Mercado is his favorite argument about who deserves another attempt. Jett Salazar spends too much motion on elevation; Reggie insists compact delivery is the superior spectacle.
Room to grow
Can let one quiet efficient basket speak for him without supplying a larger caption.
The signature
Look Alive
He winds up an exaggerated high ball fake above his head, draws the defender upright, then compresses into a deep squat and springs into a compact jumper from the newly opened side angle.
The rules & the counter
His ball fake ends in a legal gather and a short side-angle jumper. He does not jump higher than physics allows or pull the rim down. A defender who stays grounded can contest his release; a blocked angle requires an actual pass.
The weakness
A defender who offers him an ordinary easy look can tempt him to turn it into a more dramatic difficult one.
When it works
The celebration
Lifts his chin with a broad grin and pats an imaginary headline above his own head.
When it falls apart
The losing reaction
Admits the miss was loud, then asks whether anyone noticed the very sensible pass he made before it.
The constants
Always this character
35-year-old man, 152 cm, full beard and visible laugh lines, mature compact musculature; confidence and desire are adult, never a child pretending to be grown.
