Saddle Rats

The identity

Hold your ground. Mind the gate.

Five unmistakable Western cowboys and cowgirls from a working riding-hall community: broad hat brims, bandannas, leather and denim, immaculate swagger and dangerously practiced basketball. They disagree about who gets to direct the herd, claim the best patch of floor or set the standard. The confidence is theatrical; the hours of work behind it are real.

The Northlake Riding Hall brought together Crispin’s trail routes, Portia’s precise riding patterns, Blair’s community events, Sébastien’s beautiful arena layouts and Astrid’s heavy repair work. They cleared a barn floor for pickup basketball and promptly argued about how it should be run. Blair organized the five-person roster partly to settle that argument somewhere with an actual scoreboard.
