Profile
Backstory
Imani learned her craft teaching adult stunt fundamentals at a community gym. Spectators remembered the person in the air; the athletes remembered who caught them. She joined Tessa on the condition that the base would be a visible role.
What drives them
Make the work underneath every spectacular moment impossible to overlook.
Allies, rivals & friction
Arjun is her trusted opposite base. Nico owes her good timing, not worship. Amara is a strength rival whose calm competence she genuinely enjoys testing.
Room to grow
Can demand recognition without withholding trust; others must also learn to give it.
The signature
Return to Sender
A descending teammate lands into her braced forearm-and-torso catch. She absorbs the short drop with her legs, pivots a quarter-turn, and puts them back on their feet facing the open lane in one controlled reset.
The rules & the counter
One teammate, a short known descent and both her feet available. No blind full-court catches or throwing an opponent. A late or off-axis arrival forces her to abandon the play and secure the landing.
The weakness
When ignored, she holds the next setup until somebody actually acknowledges the base call.
When it works
The celebration
Points first to the launch marks, then to herself and the other base.
When it falls apart
The losing reaction
Waits through everybody's explanation, then repeats the one instruction they ignored.
The constants
Always this character
Powerful base; visible agency; controlled catches; credit matters. Never a passive caretaker or an inexhaustible safety net.
