Profile
Backstory
Nico edited Eighth Count's rehearsal clips so tightly that the bases often disappeared from the frame. Imani made him watch a full uncut routine. He understood the lesson perfectly and is still trying to keep himself in the center.
What drives them
Become the league's unmistakable aerial star while admitting that dependence is part of the skill.
Allies, rivals & friction
Imani will not reward bad timing; Arjun enjoys giving him almost too much confidence. Inez hates his claim that height is something a team can build.
Room to grow
Can share the replay frame and still love being the star.
The signature
Second Floor
Tessa cues and lobs. Imani and Arjun plant and raise Nico together. He catches and shoots from a brief supported high extension, then dismounts under control; alternatively, he finishes within one short released arc. Mei stays an active decoy or outlet.
The rules & the counter
Requires both bases and a shared cue. Supported elevation keeps visible base contact; a release creates one gravity arc. No unsupported hover, flip, repeated boost or midair direction change. Early elevation or a late base loses the ball window.
The weakness
He hears applause before it exists and jumps ahead of the count.
When it works
The celebration
Looks down at imaginary taller opponents, then remembers to acknowledge the bases.
When it falls apart
The losing reaction
Claims the pass was low, even if the replay shows him leaving early.
The constants
Always this character
160 cm male flyer; powerful compact body; two-base Second Floor with supported and short-release variants. Acrobatics are trained athletic skill, never effortless magic.
