Backstory
Bruno rebuilt neglected motorcycles at the Foundry cooperative and could make a usable part out of almost anything except a convincing excuse. He joined the basketball roster after spending a whole pickup session returning wild passes without comment. His quietness hid a highly specific opinion about each one.

Turn broken possessions into clean chances, then teach the others to value prevention as much as a spectacular repair.

Jett supplies more repairs than Bruno believes one person should require. Maeve respects the work and quietly brings the right tools. Orrin Moss narrates every recovery as a quest; Bruno would prefer a clear outlet target.

Loose Bolt
When a short pass is bobbled he squats, traps the bouncing ball with both palms before a second defender arrives, rises through a clean pivot and hand-delivers a short pass to the cutter as if fitting a missing component.
The rules & the counter
The loose ball must bounce within his real reach and he must secure it before pivoting. A quick opponent can take it first or trap the rising pass. He cannot retrieve balls through legs or hands already controlling them.

He waits to repair a mistake instead of calling out the risky setup while it is still preventable.

Gives the completed pass a tiny satisfied nod as if a rattling engine has finally gone quiet.
