Profile
Backstory
Jett painted custom motorcycle tanks and helmets in the cooperative’s tiny upstairs studio, adding one last pinstripe after everybody thought a job was finished. He transferred the same instinct to basketball: every useful shot could, in his opinion, survive one more flourish. Rox recruited the reliable shooter hidden under the extra coat.
What drives them
Create a signature worth replaying without turning the team into unpaid assistants for his appetite for risk.
Allies, rivals & friction
Bruno rescues his awkward feeds but has begun charging him imaginary repair invoices. Anika hates routes that end in an unnecessary leap. Viv Mercado cheers the audacity while trying to outdo it; Reggie Banks calls his elevation budget extravagant.
Room to grow
Can recognize restraint as a precision choice he made, rather than an adventure somebody denied him.
The signature
Rev Limiter
He bounces impatiently on the balls of his feet behind a real screen, compresses into three visibly smaller hops without traveling with the ball, receives a pass on the final plant and fires a sudden high-release jumper.
The rules & the counter
His preparatory hops occur without the ball; he receives on the final plant and takes a legal shot. A defender can deny the pass, press his landing spot legally or simply avoid matching the bouncing rhythm.
The weakness
A clean simple basket feels unfinished, and he may add difficulty after the advantage has already appeared.
When it works
The celebration
Twists an imaginary throttle twice and grins at the teammate who supplied the pass.
When it falls apart
The losing reaction
Insists the move needs tuning rather than removal, then actually stays to practice the boring version.
The constants
Always this character
Lean wiry 29-year-old Latino man, 188 cm, warm olive skin, mature long nose, short dark stubble and pointed goatee. Short tousled black hair with copper tips under a black patterned biker bandana, ear gauges and neck/arm flash tattoos. Right-calf lightning tattoo. Crooked cheerful grin. The established lightning bolt remains on his RIGHT calf. Preparatory hops are off-ball; style never excuses traveling. His cheerful risk-taking and trained shooting have real limits.
